It seems like things are coming back into stability.

I approve of this.

"Warms Me Heart, It Does!"

Getting settled into this new apartment is a little hectic (but trust me, I'm becoming MADLY inspired now that I have a room that's solely my own and I can decorate on any whim I choose).

Having this absolute blank canvas of a room makes my heart swell with inspiration, possibility, and creativity. It's almost a little overwhelming, as I've barely got my stuff put away--decorating the walls now would be putting the cart before the horse!

Another thing that makes me feel just downright happy is being able to help a friend. Even if it's just a little bit of cheer, it still makes me feel accomplished. I'm not sickeningly cheery all the time--in fact, I'd really call myself more of a "realist" (rather than a blatant optimist or pessimist), but I do so love to see my friends smile. The way I see it, someone who really cares won't just let you sit around mopey for an extended period of time.

So, that's that. This concludes my blog of what makes me wee little heart go pitter-pat. :D

(Pssst, hey guyz, if you catch a screencap of my 5,000th pageview, I'll take pictures of whatever object/theme/style you desire. I might also be able to whip out a quick MSPaint drawing for you, in the style of "batshit crazy but also hilarious" (see Popsicle Battle Royale).

WICKED!!

Sat Jul 11, 2009, 5:45 PM
[7/11/09] Today I saw the musical Wicked at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis. It was ABSOLUTELY breathtaking. I cried; it was simply astounding. A visual and auditory spectacle!! I mean, I've had the soundtrack for a while, but SEEING it...was so emotional for me, I cried at the very first grand note of the overture. It was so wonderful, I can hardly find words for it! So I'll make some up!!

Wicked is absolutely TOOTERONIC!!! Pradolicioso!

Fuck this noise.

The audio in Flash-based videos on websites (i.e. Youtube, Google Videos) will not work. The video streams fine, there's just no audio. This happens on the newest versions of Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome.

My system sounds and sounds on other various applications work just fine, but not Flash.

What I have done to attempt to fix the problem:
**Installed latest version of Flash.
**Checked the volume mixer to make sure everything is un-muted.
**Ensured the msacm32.drv audio driver exists.
**Checked the wavemapper registry to make sure it's pointed at the msacm32.drv driver.
**Downloaded the K-Lite Codec Tweak Tool, ridded my system of the broken codecs/files.
**Used CCleaner to clean out old, broken Flash cache.

What I haven't done (yet):
**Uninstalled Skype (which I've been told can "hijack" a system's audio)
**Thrown Blossom out the window for having this shitty realtek audio card. :stab:

Can ANYONE out there help me?
